The Gautam Buddha University (GBU), established by U.P. Govt. by Act No. 9 of 2002, spread in 511 acres lush green campus at Gr. Noida encourages multidimensional growth through its education, training and research. The University envisions becoming a world class centre for excellence in education and research. The academic programme, designed in line with the best universities around the world, combine the best practices of pedagogy and class room teaching, complemented by practical training and experiential learning. In order to promote value-based education, research and training, the University has established eight schools. The school of Engineering offers graduate, post graduate and doctoral Programmes of Engineering including interdisciplinary domains such as Integrated B.Tech. + M.Tech./MBA, B.Tech., M. Tech, B.Arch., M. Arch.., M. Planning and PhD in various disciplines of Engineering & Technology.

The Abhivyanjana fest organized by Gautam Buddha University lays an utter justice to the term Abhivyanjana itself, which means to express ideas in a peculiar yet diversied way, and to put a soul to the term. The fest organized is a milestone where, every year, students from various institutions participate. The assemblage gathered in the fest witness the majestic and enthusiastic environment put into shape delivered by the faculty members and students of Gautam Buddha University. In 2019, students from various institutions including Jamia Millia Islamia, Ramjas College, Aligarh Muslim University, IIMT, Laksmi Bai College, Motilal Nehru College, Desh Bandhu College, Shyama Prasad Mukherji College, MIET, SGBT College, and many others participated with full zeal and enthusiasm to represent their colleges in the fun filled extravaganza.
